    Multiboxing Diary
    By Itazuki

    Programs that i use in this;

    Octopus
    Index of /octopus

    World of Warcraft x3
    World of Warcraft Community Site

    AddOns that i use while Boxing;

    Multiboxer v2
    http://www.smurfy.de/files/MultiBoxerv2_0.5.zip

    Characters

3x Shamans. Named with the most basic boxing way ever.
    ---Box . ---Box & ---Box

    __The Diary__

    Day 1

I started of with the thought, that multiboxing would be fast and easy..
After 30mins, i was ready to smash my keyboard and Quit the Boxing.
To all you who think it's all smooth & Fast and amazing and all that, please reconsider.
I started off with 2 Warlocks, got em leveled to 14, then Deleted them for the pure boredom ( 14hours played... ).
Created 3 new Tauren Shamans and started all over.

    Day 2

    Started to level the Shamans.
The first levels 1 - 6 was a pain (but so is everything else that i've experienced 'till now)

Leveled to 6 in Mulgore, after that i traveled to Durotar.
    2 hours played

Did all the Razor hill & Zenjin village quests, left Durotar for Barrens at level 10.
    8 hours played.

Kill'd some bleedin' Striders and Zhevras, then those damn Pig dudes.
Ripped heads from raptors for the pissed of guy.
At Level 12 my journey continued to Ghostlands.
    11 hours played.

Entered the Depressin' forest of Ghostlands.
Grinded and Quested as long as i could find Killing quests.
    Why killing quests?
    * Please Mr.%n, Can you pweaaase get me 15 super rare murloc spines? You must help me!!1 *
    Now, remember that i have to do every " collection " quest 3 times, Which goes like this;
    * Please Mr.%n, Can you pweeease get me 45 super rare murloc spines? You must help me!!1 *
    Got it?
Left Ghostlands at level 13, went to orgrimmar and forced my friend to boost me in RFC 'till i was 15.
    16 hours played.

    Day 3

Went back to the Barrens, directly to Ratchet.
    Kill'd loads of pirates.
Decided to finish the Raptor head quest, so i started to rip the heads off every single raptor i saw.
    Messy & Painfull.
    Got to level 16
    18 hours played.

Now, when i'd reached a level i thought unreachable, it was the time for a RFC farm with only my own shamans.
Tried it out, liked it, continued it.
    Currently at level 17
    19½ hours played.

Time passed and i decided to force my friend Hunterorz to boost me in WC a couple of times.
Before i knew, i was at level 19 and forced myself to get level 20.
    *Ze Ghostwolf <3*
    Currently at level 20
    25hours played.

    Day 4

IDD. Finished the quest just now. Was indeed very painfull and all that, but it was bloody worth it, Good exp + a hellofa good totem.
Started to run WC & SFK by myself, still can't do >4 mobs at a time, but it'll be easy as soon as i hit 26.
    Currently at level 21
    29hours played.

    Changelog v1

i used Keyclone from 1 - 12, but changed to Octopus simply because it has a faster reaction time ( imo ).

I <3 Multiboxing, my 4 box warlocks are 66 now (what a pain) I was thinking of dropping to 2 box, thinking dual Pallies 1 holy 1 prot. What do you think would be best for a 2 box set up?

Tbh, I must say that 1x prot pally and 1x Holy pally, will go way slower than let's say 3x DPS'ers and since shamans can solo all Heroic instances at level 70 with Blue PvP gear. I would take 2x - 5x shamans anytime. (:

    And how is that?
What makes it a failure? The fact that you can't solo instances?

I think shaman are great, but it would be rough with no tank until I get higher level. With my locks I had the pets (1 VW, 1 Imp, 2 FG ) so aggro was no major issue (also i used the dot/CoE/kite method) The only reason I didnt want to dual box shammies was no tank.
