Thanks for choosing Tenbyten, the 100% automatic Alterac Valley leechbot. This program is free for all and is freely distibutable, Tenbyten comes without a fancy installer so you need to adjust some values in --tenbyten.ini--.
Tenbyten, what it does:
-Starts WoW,
-Logs in,
-Enters world,
-Joins BG queue,
-Enters battle,
-leeches till, end battle, idle debuff or a set amount of time,
-Leaves battle,
-Joins BG queue etc etc.
-When the idle debuff appears, or the max time is reached. WoW exits, waits five minutes and restarts the bot and WoW. (i.e joins a fresh new BG)
Tenbyten features:
-No interference with WoW.exe or any other part of WoW, no file modifications needed.
-Automatic login and restart.
-Exit on idle debuff.
-Exit BG after a set amount of time (no more jumping in the cave in a epic 40 minute resource battle).
-Smart control, no forced clicks when in a bg, no jumping outside BG's.
-Screenshots of the scoreboard on BG end, if you get reported idle or when the maximum time is reached. (optional, change in tenbyten.ini)
-Move window option, automaticly moves the WoW window to a specified position. (optional, change in tenbyten.ini. handy with extended desktops)
-Logging function, keep logs of Tenbyten uptime, BG time and time passed untill idle debuff applies. (only accurate when leaving the bot alone)
-Safe login, impossible to spout your login and password all over /BG chat. (login function only gets called once when WoW is not running, if wow runs the login function exits WOW !immediatly!)
-Patch independant. Doesn't rely on the WoW API, so it should last for a few patches.
Tenbyten Requirements:
-WoW running in 800x600 resolution windowed mode, with all graphic options low. Let WoW manage Gamma.
-NO ADDONS! Only install --AlarBGHelper-- (included), or another mod that automaticly joins the BG queue on NPC click. (resize the AlarBGHelper window in-game so it doesn't overlap the chat windows)
-Wow window must be active for the bot to work, you can still alt-tab to watch a movie, but be sure to reactivate WoW when you are watching it.
-Don't be in a party (BG Raid excluded ofcourse)
Tenbyten, step by step:
-Extract the contents of Tenbyten.rar in any directory.
-Copy the AlarBGHelper map to your addons map in the wow directory.
-Open Tenbyten.ini and adjust the values.
-Open WoW and login on the character you want to leech with.
-Make two new chatwindows, make them black with max opacity, remove all chat channels from them.
-Place the chatwindows next to eachother as shown in --Tenbyten.jpg--
-Move to the Alterac Valley BG NPC and zoom in till you are looking through your characters eyes.
-Face your toon to the NPC, stand toe to toe with the NPC, prefferably facing north.
-Exit WoW.
-Doublecheck Tenbyten.ini settings
-Run Tenbyten.exe
-leech.
Tenbyten tips:
-The Alterac valley BG NPC in Alterac mountains is the best NPC to park your character. (she's big and mounted, and no position reset after a "hard exit". (When joining BG through major city NPC's and performing a hard exit in AV, your bearing will reset making you face away from the NPC when relogging)
-My expirience while testing Tenbyten is that setting $maxtime in Tenbyten.ini to 17 yields the most honor per hour. (My record is 16K in 18 hours. 51 BG's done.)
-Set $jumptime to 60 when you're gonna ALT-TAB alot, if the bot runs undisturbed set it to 120 or 180. (jumping like a tool every 10 seconds screams report me!)
-Rename the 2 tenbyten executables, change values in tenbyten.ini accordingly. Warden scans for proccess titles. If this bot becomes populair it's a MUST to rename them.
-Depending on your battlegroup it's unwise to bot while sleeping, my battlegroup has 20+ AV's up 24/7 so it's not a big deal. (Ignore what i just said if you are a daysleeper )
-The pause key is the panic button. It exits WoW and tenbyten enters its wait state (default = 300000ms).
-The bot can be paused with right clicking the tray icon.
Tenbyten bugs:
-When Alt-tabbing, you might trigger the debuffchecker function. (very rare, and only when alt-tabbing like a maniac)
-Mouse wars; If a mouse operation is busy and you try to move the mouse too, bad stuff can happen. (mouse operations are only active when outside a BG or when the scoreboard pops up, and no, you wont win from the cpu mouse)
-Opening the world map can trigger the debuffchecker function.
-Opening the World map or the scoreboard yourself resets the counter for $maxtime.
-Yes, there are two exe's. Im to lazy to figure out how to do a goto 10 command... One exe calls the other, they are identical copy's ($app & $app1 being the only difference)
Tenbyten w.i.p:
-GM whisper detection. (should be easy now that they have that symbol in their chat msg)
-Getting out of the cave. (should lower the times you get reported by a lot.)
-Making the code more efficient, i'm never satisfied when it comes to making code more efficient.
-Let the anti afk routine access WoW even if the window isn't focussed.
Tenbyten developer notes,
-I made this leechbot because i was bored with AV, my goal was to make an application so i can watch southpark or do my groceries while my toon defended the cave. It worked out just fine, the very first version of tenbyten ran for 13 hours till i got suspended (the first version only jumped every 30 secs, thats it). I kept improving tenbyten till i was satisfied and not anxious to run the bot while sleeping or working.
-Now it's finished and im releasing it to the public, screw timesinks!
-Mail me at [email protected] for suggestions.
-*Yells "FOR THE HORDE" while jumping every 10 secs*
