In-Game Web Browser (no alt-tabbing)

Yes it does, I just restarted Steam and it worked...
I restarted again after to see if the LAAAG would be gone.
But no difference...

Now, if you want to make a really kick ass browser, you should look into real programming. You can paint a browser control directly onto the WoW screen itself. (Thus eliminating pretty much all the lag, and you can have as many/little features as your heart desires.)

Anyway, I quitted using WoW in Steam because this browser kind of sucks, When you try to search something on google, it is like a 3second response time, MMOwned becomes Midget ******..
Youtube don't work.

And it lags because it's hooking into the directx stuff. Unless you have a really nice computer or someone was to do this at the kernel level, there will always be lag. And youtube doesn't work because the in-game steam browser doesn't support javascript.

Go get yourself the DX9 SDK. (Since DX10 isn't really all that available for windows XP yet) You can easily write an actual browser. (Took me 45 minutes to get a very very basic browser up and running)

In game browsers will always be a little bit slower with WoW due to the amount of packets being sent back and forth to keep communication with the server. However, this thing is just unbearable. 5 seconds to load a blank webpage on a 10MiB connection server? Even local pages are taking forever.
