Win2DS with WoW/Bots

Win2DS, a Method

Information:
Win2DS is a homebrew (?) application, you can use your computer from your Nintendo DS, use it as a gamepad, or virtual desktop (You can see your computer screen from your DS) with a wireless connection.
You can use it inside your house, or in another place, that got Wi-fi enabled.

Stylus works as the mouse

Shoulder "L" button + Stylus, it moves the upper screen




What does this have to do with World of Warcraft botting?
Well, you CAN monitor your bot with this, you can even bring up a keyboard to reply to whispers. You can go to drink a coffee to Starbucks, and you leave your computer botting your character, and you can see what the bot is doing.

What do you need?

• A Nintendo DS or Nintendo DS Lite, both works

• A Flash Cart for DS to enable homebrew (I recommend SuperKey and SuperCard SD, you can buy it from realhotstuff.com)

• A router with wireless connection

• Win2DS (It's free!)

• A SD memory card reader (I think some laptops have it built-in)

1. Once you have a Nintendo DS, and a flash cart, download Win2DS
2. Save the .exe somewhere, and DLDI patch the .nds (HOW?)
3. Put the .nds inside your SD memory card
4. Go to Start - Control Panel - Windows Firewall - Exceptions- Add Port
5. On name put "DS2Win", on Port number put "8888" (Without "") and choose UDP
6. Open DS2Win.exe, put a password if you want
7. "Remove the hardware safely" (Option on Windows XP)
8. Run the win2ds.nds on your Nintendo DS using Supercard SD (Or any other flash cart)
9. It will ask for your IP, if you want to use it inside your house, go to step 10, if you want to use your computer outside the house (Another hotspot) go to step 11.
10. Go to Start - Run - Type "cmd" without quotes and press enter- Type "ipconfig" without quotes and press enter. The number it says on "IP Address", type it in the Win2DS application on your nintendo DS (It's your internal IP)
11. Go to What's My IP Address? Your IP is 206.71.153.240 and use the numbers it says there (It's your external IP)
12. Type your password if you have one, if you don't, just press enter in the touchscreen
13. Select "Virtual Desktop", and there you go! Now you can use your computer from your DS.

If you do it correctly, it will work

NOTE: Everytime you restart your computer, open Win2DS application on your computer again, or select the option "Start at windows Startup"

NOTE2: With Flashcarts, you can do lots of stuff, like download homebrew games, homebrew apps, browse the web, and.....illegaly download commercial ROMS for free. =Not linking you any site, if interested, search on google=

This is Awesome. but one thing with Win2DS, i clicked the slider for the quality and for some reason when you max out hte slider all the way up... it only goes to 80% not 100..... wierd

BTW, omnia, did you already had a flash cart? or you just ran the program on your computer?

( and if i try to auto connect it says: Status: CANNOT CONNECT )

Did you DLDI patched?
Did you opened UDP port 8888?
Are you using the correct IP? (Needs to be internal if you are in your router's hotspot)
Are you running DS2Win.exe on your computer?

Did that all BUT there isn't a DLDI for DSTT but they say i can also use the r4ds or m3 or so, and maybe my wireless router is on a firewall..

Then DSTT auto patches? or how are you able to DLDI patch it?

but a few problems the Custom keys dont work. i set them and turn on custom keys in the menu and then go back to the virtual desktop and its the same as it was before. is there a new version that fixes this?

Custom keys are for the gamepad mode, not the virtual desktop

I dont know about the DSTT compatibility..
I like the Supercard SD (Non-rumble) because it has extra RAM (32 RAM to be exact) that makes programs like DSLinux, QuakeDS and Quake 2 DS, and some others work or work better. Also that almost all homebrew applications have worked for me, GBA games work, downloaded DS Games work and everything.

What I was wondering is why they dont do a web browser that uses the 32 RAM (Maybe because alot of people now use R4DS and GnM, and some others like CycloDS Evo.

So I'm happy with this Supercard, only things I would like it to do is when I turn on my DS it goes to DSOrganize automatically, or that the menu was a bit better, and an autopatch tool
