    Accelerate Streams with SpeedBit

    Speedbit Video Accelerator

Ive been noticing the growing sort of off topic posts that seem to be helping people, so i thought i might and try one that i think of as a great help.

    How It Works

    "Now accelerating" Message
The "Now accelerating..." message will appear each time a video from YouTube or one of over 100 sites that we support begins to load. The progress bar animation indicates multi-connection streaming, as opposed to the standard single connection. The "Now accelerating..." message will close automatically, once the file has downloaded. You may close this message as soon as a video loads and this will not affect the file being downloaded. You can hide this message from the settings window

SpeedBit Video Accelerator features a built-in video search for finding videos on YouTube and over 100 sites including: MySpace, Metacafe, Dailymotion, Facebook, 5min, Reuters, Phtobucket, Tudou, Bebo, Break, ESPN, CNET TV, AOL, CNN, Discovery, Veoh and many more, or by searching around the web, and is powered by FileRatings Video! This feature does not support video searches for iTunes videos.

For easily replaying videos, SpeedBit Video Accelerator bookmarks the last 10 videos accelerated. This feature allows you to view any of your chosen videos a second, third or fourth time. If you don't want to bookmark your accelerated videos, simply check the 'disable' option in settings (see below).

    Settings

    >Load service on Startup – When this option is turned off (unchecked), to accelerate videos, you will need to manually start SpeedBit Video Accelerator from your program files.
    >Show Tray Messages – Uncheck this to hide the "Now accelerating..." tray message. Your videos will still be accelerated.
    >Hide Tray Icon – When you check this option, SpeedBit Video Accelerator will run in the background without a tray icon. The icon will only appear during video acceleration.
    >Disable Recently Accelerated List – Check this option if you do not want your last 10 accelerated videos to be bookmarked and show in the Recently Accelerated tab.

    Virus Scan

Now, i scanned this with virustotal just then, and it shows that it has some trojans and crap in it. But ive been using it for about 2 months now and it shows no sign of downfall or any other stuff, and its pretty damn obvious that i didnt make this. So its all up to you if you choose to dl it or not

    Moved to General Programs.
Avoid posting non-WoW related programs in the WoW Programs section.
