    What, no posts? :(

Python is an incredible language. Its syntax is superb, especially for people who've just begun programming. It forces you to properly indent your code, and after you use Python for a long while, you develop a great habit of indenting code
It's simple yet powerful. It's simple and logical enough for a 10 year old to comprehend, and even program small things in it!
Yet it's so powerful, the folks at NASA use it . It's great for a big, running system since you can add code and constantly patch the system, while it's running.
There are many libraries for it, like wxPython which features windows, pyGame that's a great library for game making, and alot more!
Python is just an awesome programming language. You should all learn it

I got to start progamming with python again. I haven't done it in years, but I totally agree, python is the best programming language I know(which doesn't say much because it's pretty much the only one I've really programmed with)

I like the syntax, the indenting you have to do is unique. It also has a nice little shell .

Not a bad beginning language if you ask me.
