Here is a simple html code to put anywhere in your webpage to change the title icon like in this pic:

no you can do dmp but they just be smaller than 18x18 pixels

Just put a file called favicon.ico in the directory. It works all the same. And I LOVE this site. You can turn ANY picture into an icon. I use it for my programs too, not just websites. Favicon Generator and Gallery

<link rel="shortcut icon" href="icon.jpg" type="image/x-icon"/> also seemed to work for me, no idea what type="image/x-icon" is.

Also the shortcut only opens for me in Mozilla FF but not IE7, why is that?
