im on retail and the guide viewer stays blank and un-interactable. i tried deleting the .lua and the addon folder and reinstalling and i can't get it to work. the arrow works and i can load guides but the steps do not display in the viewer it remains blank. anyone have any idea?

What did you use to extract it?

Winrar and 7 zip are but people keep on using what they told does not work. But still use it ahd says it does not work.

It seems that classic guide is broken, with 2 typos, which then results in whole guide crashing when you reach it. In QuestDBData.lua and ZygorLevelingAllianceCLASSIC.lua two quests have `havevq` instead of `haveq` used as a method. Replacing incorrect "havevq" with correct "haveq" in these two files, 2 lines per file, 4 lines total, fixed the addon for me. Edited using Visual Studio Code and just saved.

Oh you have a good point, no one has said anything. I will check and fix.

I also ran into a problem, not that big a deal though, when I finished with 1-60 classic alliance it said that the outland guides couldn't be found so I had to go in and set it myself, and when you finish an area in the outland you have to manually set it every time

Is the Classic and Cata the same file? Tried downloading and installing the cata one and it's incompatible? It's the same file in the link.
