Does anyone have any suggestions? I have seen many different options, but I am not sure which on is best for me. I have one PC and no consoles. Thanks![]()

If you're trying to play two different instances of Diablo II: Resurrected (D2R) on the same PC, there are a few options you can try:
Use sandboxing software: You can use a sandboxing software like Sandboxie or VMware to create a separate virtual environment for each instance of D2R. This will allow you to run multiple instances of the game without interference.
Use a virtual machine: You can use a virtual machine software like VirtualBox to create a virtual machine for each instance of D2R. This will also allow you to run multiple instances of the game without interference.
Use multiple user accounts: You can create multiple user accounts on your PC and run each instance of D2R from a separate account. This will keep each instance of the game separate from each other and prevent interference.
Use game launcher software: Some game launcher software like Steam or GOG Galaxy have the ability to run multiple instances of a game. You can try using one of these launchers to run multiple instances of D2R.
I use ISboxer and it works really well. It's a supported program intended for us to play multiple instances of games. Multiboxing. It's not free, but its relatively cheap. Depending on your hardware... I can run up to 7, but it's only super stable at 5 copies. It's better than a lot of the ghetto ways I've seen people accomplish this.
