Ascent Errors and Their Fixes

Heres a list of all of the more common,easy to fix problems involving Ascent and server files such as Apache,MySQl and Logon Server.

*Note: These commands are only helpful if you are the admin of said server*

MySQL

< When I start MySQL I get the error : Do you already have another mysqld server running on port: 3306 ?>

Basically, you have 2 MySQLs running, one that is included with the repack, and one that you installed because of a guide, just un-install the one that is located in your computer BE SURE TO DELETE THE FOLDER in C<Program Files< and delete the MySQL folder entirely ( It leaves remnants, damn add/remove program doesn't do the one thing its meant to do).

<What is the default Username and password included with X Repack?!?>

On MOST servers this is the setup:

Username: root
Password: ascent

<When I start MySQL I get the error : Can't find messagefile 'C:\AC Web Ultimate Repack\server\mysql\share\English\errmsg.sys'.>

Your AC-Web Ultimate repack is not in Local Disk C:\ root where it is suppose to be.

Apache

<I get an error saying Port 80 is already in use>

Port 80 already has something using it up. If you use Skype, close it. If you don't use skype,Press CTRL+ALT+DELETE choose the "Processes" tab. Close apache.exe (Nothing else) and you should be good to go.

LogonServer

~I can't think of any common logon-server errors~

<Unable to Validate Game version>

Go to My Computer>AC-Web Ultimate Repack>Ascent>Logon Server and open it up look for the part like this:

Now anyone on any patch can connect (Even those Pre-BC!)
