Disabling Post Count

Hey everybody.
I come to you today with a reasonable and simple suggestion.
I really hope this hasn't already been implented cause then I just look foolish

Disabling post count for General Chat.

Simple as. There is an awful lot of useless spam in General chat, and it is home of the forum games which we all know people post in every chance they get. I'll be honest I have no idea whats so bad about a having a few hundred posts of useless spam, but for some reason it just doesn't seem right.

You do need certain amount of posts for certain things on this forums, namely Ranks. And I don't think spamming is the way to get there.

Pro and Cons:

Pros:

• It may reduce posts which would make the Moderators job alot easier.
• In my opinion it would stop people posting as much in there, thus less posting in the forum is general, not as many server busy messages.
• Not as many posts in forum games (This is personel )
• It would encourage people to post in the right section, if made known.
  

Cons:
(Obvioisly I am biased so I can not THINK of as many cons, as apose to not listing them)

• It could stop alot of people posting in there making it less active.
• May encourage others to spam elsewhere

I know I may be reading alot into this, and it seems like a awful lot of effort just to get something simple like this done, but I am bored and if your gonna do something/suggest something...You might as well do it well!
