    Gold Scam: Wrapping Paper

Nowadays, if not all WoW players are so stupid to accept the wrapping paper scam. The majority of the players are aged 20 and above or 15 and above. At the age of 15 or so, they would no longer be so stupid as to accept the wrapping paper scam.

I have succeded only once and alot of them would go screw that, why would i want to pay 800g for a wrapped box? Send me without the wrapping paper!

Can you get banned for sending someone just something wrapped and asking for a COD from it? Like, no the wrapping paper scam, just sending them something with wrapping paper over it?

Billy: You don't "ask" for CoD you just set it and send it. And no, you can't get banned from scamming as far as I know, because, en quote from Bliz, "We consider scamming a (something something) and players should be more aware of their items." Something like that.

Also, most of WoW is taken over by the teen nation.

    i only mail 40 wraped gifts for a cod for 1 g
    i made about 30g but
i just got a email from blizzard that my alt is banned for 72 hours cause this is a scam

    Offense:
    Scamming another Player
    This category includes:
    • Acquiring items or any other “possessions” from another player through
    misinformation, confusion, or fraud (Scamming)

even if u dont say anything to em, it still gonna count under confusion

I remember around christmas time, I wrapped a whole bunch of random white things and said its a christmas present but I CoD for 5g each. I said it could be like a skinning knife or a rare item. I sent out 50 and 46 of them fell for it.

    Ok. The facts.

Ive done it a few times. Not once even been reported.

Dont be greedy. Sending 'Jim' a CoD for 100g in a Box, Not gonna happen.

If you do the scam through a tradesell, Be nice and genuine with your victims, Like "Yeah, Nice tradin with you mate; Ill even wrap it up for you!"

Maybe the best method, and a test of how trustworthy the people are =P, Send a COD to a targeted player. In it, write something like "Hey Jim, heres the gift you wanted ^^ 50-110 dmg too, Should be good for tankin" The guy you sent it too is like, 'Hmmm, I want that!' But its CoD'd for 4or5 gold.

These all work very well, Just dont be so greedy and logoff or go on another character after a big 'haul' xD

Its easy to make a few hundred g's every day; But be cool about it, As soon as the Blizz guys see that much money flowing into your account and they recieve some complaints (which they will) they'll take action on you.

    Well, Preach over ^^

Feel free to rep lol, Although Im not forcing you! =P
