I thought this was a pretty cool idea i came across every1 can share where they grind .... if not ahh well

If you are grinding XP, or are using a bot, this thread is gold.


Let's get some hard evidence of good grind spots.

Here's how it goes:

You'll need the Clock feature of Cosmos or a similar add-on that tracks money earned/hour.

Get to the grind spot of your choice. Reset the add-on (you can login/logout to do this) and grind away. When the bags are full, run to the nearest vendor and sell all the vendor trash you picked up. Repeat if you desire.

Actually to keep the experiment accurate, don't try to factor out travel time to and from the vendor. This is important. It's also important to go back and grind the exact same mobs, or this is pointless.

Here's how to report:
Level X (insert class here)
Location: (post location of mobs here)
Level of Mobs = X
Total Cash&Trash/hour = X.XX G's

(optional) #of greens, blues, epics

Do NOT include auctionable items in your Cash&Trash total. You CAN post how many you got though. We want to know how much CASH you can walk away with in-hand per hour/average grinding X mobs at X level.

Do NOT go into a diatribe of your adventures. If you come across something really good that needs further explanation, start a new post or something.

The longer you grind a certain area, the more accurate your totals will be, so if you grind Murlocs on 3 different sessions feel free edit your post to average your totals for all three sessions to get the most accurate figure possible.
