[bot] World of warcraft classic
Hi! I've been working on a bot for World of Warcraft classic that runs World of Warcraft in a virtual machine and reads the pixel values. I'm giving away 10 keys to the community for anyone who is willing to test the program and give some feedback.
pixelbotter_bot2.png pixelbotter_combat2.png
Features
- Grinding
- Spell sequences
- Eating/drinking
- Profile creation
- Looting
Not included
- Run to corpse
- Gathering(might come in a further version if people like the program)
Performance (has to be taken with a grain of salt since it's reading pixel values and currently you shouldn't leave the bot for hours without being nearby.)
- Detects enemies ~95% of the time.
- Loots ~65% of the time.
- The navigation needs some fine tuning since it sometimes does weird turns and has trouble in narrow paths.
Testing
I have tested the bot in durotar and trisfal glaves and seems to work. But we will see from your feedback hehe :P
What I will be working on next when I have time is
- Navigation
- Detection of enemy frames
- Your suggestions/requests
- Website

I would be interested as well. And if there is anything I could help with in the development I am all ears. I have experience in VB, C+, and Python and am trying to learn more about coding in general (so not sure if I'd be a ton of help).

I’m a programmer myself (not done any programming wow related as of yet) and can suggest any improvements but if there are more worthy people such as an actual tester to give a key out to, I’d rather you gave it to them.

Well, the game is run inside of a virtual machine with isolated processes and then the host computer reads the pixel values from that virtual machine to know where to click and what keys to send. Therefore it should be much safer than a regular bot, just takes longer time to setup

Very interesting idea ... That could make botting reasonably safe again.
I would really like to take a closer look.
In which language is the whole program programmed
