Scamming the GMs

SCAMMING THE GMS

Please note that this is simply a scam idea, and that it is [not tested].

THE SETUP:
a. This scam requires a buddy. Make sure that he/she is NOT in your guild or on your friends list.
b. Make sure that all discussion leading up to this scam takes place OUTSIDE of WoW. That is, on AIM or via phone. Blizzard employees can look up your previous conversations on WoW.

THE SCAM:
1. You and your friend both log on to your accounts.
2. Your friend spams the trade channel, looking to buy a specific epic/rare BoE.
3. You whisper him, and tell him to meet you in [random city].
4. You put the item in the trade window, and he puts in the wrong amount of gold. He says that he's lagging.
5. You "accidentally" accept the trade offer, and then say something along the lines of "Hey, wait, WTF"
6. Your friend then mails the item to YOUR alt (not his), and logs off of his character.
7. Petition the GM and tell them that you have just been scammed out of your epic/rare BoE. If you have never lost an item before, the GM should replace it for you for free.
8. Log onto your alt and grab the item from your mailbox. You just duped an item!

This is simply a rough idea, but it's a start. Open to all of your ideas, so comment away!

the simple ones are often the best.

dont think this will work though. they keep logs on what each character has at any given time. Even after migrating servers ,I couldn't trick them to un'soulbounding an Eye of Shadow off my priest

Why you can't get banned for backscamming unless you say

[Trader] Sure its for trade, how much you offering?
[Scammer] Errr. XXXg for it?
[Trader] Sure, meet me in the bank.

You should go

That way, you can say it was a mis-tell, or even say that i never said XXXg for his items, i simply whispered XXXg.

Uhhh yeah this won't work. The GM will take the item away from your friend and place it in your inventory.

the thing is, your friend might get banned, and if he sends it to your alt, the gm WILL know whats up

okay guys this is uber obvious but none of u have said it so im putting it out there. easy as this:
1) get ur friend (scammer) to create a free trial account
2) log on ur character make sure u have an alt rdy
3) get ur BoE epic/rare
4) spam sell offers make sure the amount is high so not alot of ppl actually offer
5) get your friend to message u in a tell let the convo go like this:
*friend*"Hey your really selling that"
*you*"Yeah you want to buy"
*Friend*"Id love to but im short on gold only have (half amount of price) i can trade u (BoE rare) too"
*you*"eh ok i guess if u rlly need it"
*friend*"wow thanks, can u meet me by (somewhere)
*you*"ok"

6) now comes the hard part, u need to do a trade juke and make sure ur friend knos how to make it seem even realer
7) put ur BoE in trade ur friend puts gold he selects trade and sends this:
*friend*"hey i left that item in the bank by accident wanna trade now and i can give u item after"
*you*"alright i guess, but u best not pull something funky (w/e ur choice of word is lol) on me"
you do the trade he gets item go to bank right outside bank should be mailbox have him send it to ur alt then both go into bank and set up trade
9) last minute get ur friend to say:
*friend*"sorry pal ur luck is up (or something that states he scammed u)
*friend* LOG OFF
10) now if u have a guild go into it and start flippin out then report to a gm
11) they will look at ur tansaction and chat when they see all of it they will be convinced and u get two of ur item works great if u plan to twink

I currently play on 3 servers on all fo them i tried it with Brain Hacker on all 3 server it worked got two brain hackers was able to sell my second one for 150g boom instant money or save it for ur alt on its way to 60!

btw get a friend to with that amount of money to make a trade to ur scammer friend and after the trade of gold completes and u waited about a day trade that gold back or if ur rlly a true ice cold scammer take ur friends money cause hes not able to report u wats he gonna say neways i just helped my friend scam me and he just stole the gold i helped him with sticks that friend in quite the pickle eh lol well GOOD LUCK HAPPY SCAMMING AND MERRY CHRISTMAS
