How To Make a 2.3 Private Server

I know a lot of people want to know how to make their own private servers, and so did I, I followed all the guides i could find but none of them worked. Then I figured out an easy way to do it. So I am going to show you how to make one that is easy and ANYONE could do with the latest Blizzard patch. Just download the files you see here and follow the instructions on the video. When you do the maps thing make sure you put the file called maps in the root of your WoW folder along with your ad.exe. if it says there is a Net framework 2.0 problem. google it and download and install it.

First you will need the AC Web Ultimate Repack 7.4 [Don't Use 7.5] You need to login to download it so here is a account. [Name: Superflyrepack] [Pass: 12345]

To get your server online you will need Hamachi

Last you will need HeidiSQL to edit your database and edit accounts.


To extract ad.exe you will need WinRAR

The information on how to set will be in the txt doc you open after downloading Repack.

FOR 2.3.3 GO IN logonserver.conf AND CHANGE

<Client MinBuild = "XXXX"
        MaxBuild = "XXXX">

TO

<Client MinBuild = "7561"
        MaxBuild = "10000">

Ok i tried it and it worked...but how come im not a admin? and cant use most GM commands? my max level 70 and want to know how tp change it...halp meh!

You gotta go to your ascent txt in ascent folder and change level cap to get higher than 70; then you log in to MySQL with info from the readme. ten you log on with Navi Cat and go to logon, then accounts, go to your account and put AZ under gm and you should have GM powers

hi i have done all on the notepad(txt file) but i get a error bij launching the server it says something like this :

I've downloaded this and it works nicely. A few bugged quests but runs nice. I have noticed that I'm having trouble with items missing upon logging back into the game. I can do a saveall to save all characters to the database and still loose items that were important. Almost like it merges the saves within the database so some of the older items are back that I've sold after logging out.

Well, the computer I run my server from is an XP machine. The Vista machine that I have is not being very cooperative with installing the files needed to create the server. The other two computers playing are also XP machines and the same quests bug each time.
