It's not a combat routine, just shows you pictures of what ability to cast next; that's it. You press the button, you cast the spell, zero automation.

That being said, I've used it. Very finicky and unstable (switches ability mid-gcd, which is difficult to use at times with cds up)

This. Rotations are good if you're just starting out a class, but should not (in my opinion) be relied on in most situations. The spell switching during a cast is very jarring.
