[Emu] Item/Gold Dupe (Semi-Tested)

First off, I'd like to quote hyper_speed's topic on the wrapping paper dupe.

I got the idea of trying out what was done in that dupe, but in a different way. On one private server I play on, I accidentally broke the gold limit and bugged myself. I submitted a GM ticket, but then it hit me: the 249 item buying macro he used.

I shift-clicked a gold bar (on the server its worth depends on which you buy). To my amazement, I bought 249 of them and they stacked with my other two, but they only sold for 62s (wtf?). I picked them apart, individually selling them for 10k a piece, but when I sold the whole mass (listed as 62s) it all sold for 300k or so. It was cheaper to buy these in mass and resell them. Through this method, I fixed my gold limit problem as well as gold supply.

Try this out. Haven't attempted anywhere else. Posting 5 minutes after I figured this out.

If this has been posted, I take no credit. If anything, it's a different method from the wrapping paper.

Ok, here's what happened: I broke my gold limit and went over to 300k.
The server has gold bars available for storing gold in item form, and they stack.
The strange part is, I could buy the bars in mass even though my gold was "broken". I fixed my gold and got rich doing this.

Step 1: Shift-Click the item and buy 249 of them.
Step 2: Pick apart and individually sell for 100k a piece.
Alt Step 2: Sell the whole thing for... a lot of gold (though you'd just break your gold again).
Step 3: Literally profit.

Right now I have 200+ bars in my inventory which is pretty nice.

I bugged my gold too, but my server doesn't have items for storing gold. Is there any other way I can unbug my gold?

EDIT: Never mind I figured out how to fix it on my own. Just make large bids or bid on really expensive stuff on the auction house until it's below the 220k limit and you're problem is solved.
