Ill trade you [item] for [item]!

Lets say you want....how about 500g cause you want lots of money for a mount. But the more you want, the higher the suspicion could get and the harder it is to find someone to buy it(just to tell you from the start, however much you put your auction up for in the beginning, the person you get the money from will have to pay for all of it so if it is high price it might be hard for someone to but it if they aren't 60(some lvl 60s can't even buy it cause they spend money on other stuff.

1.Find a weapon worth more than 500g(you don't have to have the weapon, just find it in AH)

2.Put up an auction for some blue item and put it at a really high price. So in this example you want 500g, so you put the item up for 500g bid and buyout.(if its not blue, the person might get suspicious)*MAKE SURE THERE IS NO OTHER AUCTIONS FOR THAT ITEM GOING ON AT THE TIME*

3.Now, get some other character or something, and get them to go around in trade channel saying "WTB [place item worth more than 500g here]! PST" or something like that.

4.Once someone whispers, doesn't matter what they say they buy it for or whatever, just say "Ok if you want it you gotta trade me [item you made an auction for with your other character goes here]" and they will be like "Ok..."

Now hopefully they don't have one of it already, and they're probably like "This guy is a retarted, this item i am trading him is not worth nearly as much as the item I am getting" But once he goes to AH he will find out that there is only one auction of that item going on, and so he will probably go ahead and buy it because the item he is getting is worth more and he can sell it for more money.

5.Wait a couple minutes, then say "Did you already get it?" and if he says yes, say something like "Darnit, i'm sorry but someone offered me a better deal. I'm really sorry"

Now they have a crap item and paid 500g for it.(well its not crap but its not worth 500g) But then you log out and delete character if you want, log back in on the character that put up the auction, and there is 500g in your mailbox!

Already been posted, so what? This one is better. This does really work most of times, but sometimes they want to see that you really have the item before buying your item from the AH. I've scammed once by this, with Stockade pauldrons
