How to connect to the realm!
Alright to connect you need World of Warcraft + The Burning Crusade. Firstly you need to download World of Warcraft and the Burning Crusade expansion which can be found at the links below.
World of Warcraft Download
Burning Crusade Expansion Pack
Once you have downloaded the game and expansion pack install them and proceed to the next step. Alright now to update your Burning Crusade client this is what you do. First you will need to install two patches.
They can be found at the links below or on our downloads page.
WoW Patch 2.0.3
WoW Patch 2.0.3 to 2.0.12
Once you have downloaded the patches install them and proceed to the next step. You will now launch World of Warcraft normally like you would launch a simple game. Then for login and password
put in random letters. Blizzard wants you to update even though that account does not exist. Then you let it update and so on. Keep repeating this step until it says: "Your login/password information is incorrect", that
means you have latest patch ! You may now proceed to the next step.
(Note if you have played Private servers before and your realmlist is not us.logon.worldofwarcraft.com you will not be able to get the latest patch till you change your realmlist back to the default)
Now that you have The Burning Crusade and everything needed we may now begin configuring our World of Warcraft connection settings. Go to your World of Warcraft install path. If you do not know where is it, you may find it in Program Files, there must be a directory called "World of Warcraft", now go into it. When you are in the folder, search for a file called "realmlist.wtf" and open it in notepad. Once opened it should say:
set realmlist us.logon.worldofwarcraft.com
set patchlist us.version.worldofwarcraft.com
You will have a couple minor changes to make. Change your file to the following:
#set realmlist wow-tsunami.servegame.org
#set patchlist us.version.worldofwarcraft.com
Once you have made all the necessary changes save your file and exit.
