Mac OSX LUA Unlock - Battle for Azeroth (Beta)

Been using this for a while to successfully find the address to patch:

https://www.ownedcore.com/forums/wor...arallel-2.html (Anything working on MacOs? (no bootcamp or parallel))

I have been trying to run the same on the Beta BFA. And getting:

    ./GetWowAddress.sh /Applications/World\ of\ Warcraft\ Beta/World\ of\ Warcraft\ Beta.app
    # Getting segmments and sections from "/Applications/World of Warcraft Beta/World of Warcraft Beta.app/Contents/MacOS/World of Warcraft"...
    # Disassembling...
    # Extracting section __TEXT __cstring...
    # Extracting section __DATA __const...
    # Extracting section __DATA __data...
    # Finding LUA Function SpellStopTargeting...
    # Finding CanPerformFunction...

    # Finding patch address...

    # Doneecho # Done

Anyone been trying something to find the address??

    Hi,

I just got BFA beta on Mac OSX and I came across the exact same issue.
The script GetWowAddress.sh doesn't return any offset address.

Could you please let me know how you fixed it? Happy to donate via Paypal for your time.

    Cheers

I read the post, but then I read OsX and lost interest - my MacBook is good for watching Netflix in bed.
Also unlocking Lua only helps when you have the advanced features of EWT / FH etc.. else pixels do as good a job and offsets never get outdated

On BFA beta, since yesterday's update, when I decompile WoW app with IDA the code seems to be obfuscated, and I can't find the offset to unlock LUA functions on OSX.

    Anyone has a solution?

    Cheers

Odd statement. I parse 90%+ without FH or anything other then JPS.

Its still there and viewable via memory dump once its loaded. It just crashes now when you try to change it. Anyone else looking at this ?

No clue what JPS is - but GSE gets 90% parses so thats not exactly hard to get :P - you just need to play the "right" classes and specs.

JPS was before Probably Engine, Before Soapbox Rotations, Before Nethermachine etc etc. Was the first auto LUA script I ever ran into (over the past 10 years). I dont know what GSE is lol

Same problem here NessK. Do you mind PMing your fix? Guessing we need to look for a different function now due to API changes, but not sure.
