So basically, you hotkey the thing, F for example, so when you hold down F it will click on the nearest item that's shown up and "Hold down left click", once the item is picked up it will click on next closest item.

The best would be if it could differentiate the same way as poehud does, so you could have options to only pick up items that have a border / make sound.
