33/28, or you could go for 3in prot for stance dance, as noted before

Actually, you CAN go wrong with axe/polearm spec, if you are speaking of a strict pvp build. Since you will be facing people that stack resilience, the amount of damage that the extra 5% crit will give you is minimal. Sword spec and mace spec (particularly combined with the BS maces) are much better choices.

Axe/Polearm spec is terribad for PvP, try maces for pvp and swords for arena.

This: Talent Calculator - World of Warcraft or Talent Calculator - World of Warcraft, anything with Imp MS and Endless rage is garbage, and Swords / Mace > Axe as previously stated.

This is the build I use for Arena on my warrior:

Talent Calculator - World of Warcraft

basically it's Mace spec MS / Sweeping strikes / Tactical mastery

With 2/3 improved hamstring for those pesky runners and Imp Slam for unloading on them when imp hamstring procs.

While some people have said Axe and sword is horrible I tend to disagree Axe gives you the extra crit for reliable Burst damage and Sword gives you unreliable burst but the chance for huge bust when it happens.

However I admit the mace stun is hard to go past....

My priest is almost finished gear wise (approaching 1800 in BG9) and was looking at my poorly geared warrior. I almost have enough honor points to buy a weapon and was wondering peoples opinions on Swords vs Maces. She has a lot of "Of the beast" green gear and will have the Vengful chest peice next week. I heard Maces are great for CCing but Swords (specced / enchanted correctly) can melt people beyond the need for a stun. Just want some opinions.

Maces. For 2's and 3's it's really is Maces. The 5's it's not important but the top end on the S3 Mace makes it fine anyway.

PVP is all about control. Maces give you that. Axe gives you some more crit. Swords the extra swing. Mace gives you stun (control).

It's all about style. I'll cover two of the popular specs here.

    35/23/3

Three points allow in TM allows you to switch stance and retain rage for useful abilities. Swapping back to Battle Stance for that Overpower on the Rogue or Cat Druid for instance is a good example. Another one would be the quick change to Defensive Stance for Spell Reflection.

    34/27/0

This build has you dropping three points in TM to pick up Flurry in the Fury tree. This gives you higher DPS but you have a complete Rage wipe when you stance switch.

It is personal style and taste though. Noktyn, Inactive, Xahlior, and others use 35/23/3 in all of their brackets while Serennia always used 34/27/0. Serennia however played very aggressively which worked for him.

Give them both a go. Generally though if you stance switch a lot 35/24/3 would be better suited to you.

Other advice I can give to you is watch movies. Anything from Xahlior is good. Arena movies more than anything else is what you should be focusing on.
