Grey inventory items

Hey folks, I've read a couple threads on this and I can't seem to get it to work.

My understanding is that if i DO NOT want my inv items greyed out, I can change the line:

// turn off sell darkening
Hud.GetPlugin<InventoryAndStashPlugin>().NotGoodDisplayEnabled = false;

to

// turn off sell darkening
Hud.GetPlugin<InventoryAndStashPlugin>().NotGoodDisplayEnabled = true;

I tried this and restarted but the items are still grey. The file was renamed to .cs by the way.

Also, does anyone have a good way to keep THUD from flashing and not starting correctly? Do you always have to start out of game in the lobby? not sure...

I think I figured out a way to do this for me. I went into plugins/default/inventory/inventoryandstashplugin.cs change the enable true to false. seems to work. hope it doesn't break anything else.

You made one step too far.

This disable the grey effect.

// turn off sell darkening
Hud.GetPlugin<InventoryAndStashPlugin>().NotGoodDisplayEnabled = false;

This enable the grey effect.

// turn off sell darkening
Hud.GetPlugin<InventoryAndStashPlugin>().NotGoodDisplayEnabled = true;
