Extracting Map Files on a Mac

Hi, I searched and I didn't find anything about how to extract the map files from WoW on a Mac, so here's how you do it:

    1. Download Crossover for Mac - http://www.codeweavers.com/products/cxmac/

    2. Open it up, hit Try Now (just a 30 day trial, no problem).

    3. Once it's open, download a Map Extractor, usually named "ad.exe". I have one, and I'll upload it if you can't find it.

    4. Place the "ad.exe" file into your World of Warcraft game directory.

    5. Make a sub-folder in your WoW folder called "maps"

    6. Although it's a .exe, double-click it and you should see a small icon bouncing in the upper-left corner of Crossover. This is good.

    7. You should see the "maps" folder slowly filling up.

    8. Wait until it's done extracting, and then place the "maps" folder into the "#/opt/mangos/" directory.

    9. Done, enjoy

Any problems, just write them here.
