How do plugins work?

Hey, so I know it is a silly question but I am a bit confused as to how these plugins work now. Some of the plugins just open up a browser with a code and I am not sure what to do with that. I get the just you want to put the plugin into the plugin folder, but I guess I am just not sure how.

Hi,
you have to save the code in a file "PluginName.cs" into the folder /plugins/"namespace"/

you can find the filename and folder in the plugins thread.
