Should still work, otherwise I would request on those forums for any updates or the sort. Please don't bot on an account you care about. Make sure to do it it on a dead account that you're okay with being banned with (you'll still get to keep the mount if it's on the same battle.net)

Make a trial level 100? I think you can do stuff on it for a while before the trial is over, no?

1. You need Legion to play class Trials
2. They get locked after 7 hours which means I can have no longer botting sessions then 6 hours to make sure I have not looted the mount and its locked in my bags

Are you confident this is true if you do not log in at any point before the ban with another account on that battle.net to sort of "perm" it ?

That may be an inaccurate assumption I've never had corrected.. thought that was a thing though..

Yes and if you learn the mount spot you're good to go with using it on all accounts. I've done it before (recently with the seahorse mount and poundfist)

But those mounts are usually kind of expensive Lowest I saw was 85e but the person is not responding at any point
