My bad for not reading the notes of the new release. Had to delete the old version and do a fresh extract of the new version of THUD.

i have the same problem, but it cant be solved with fresh extrect. i use TH since few years and never had this problem. i cant see any overlay on minimap, map, skills but the version number in left bottom.
i had this problem too with
TurboHUD 17.3.26.3 (v7.2)
but it was solved by itself with
TurboHUD 17.3.27.10 (v7.2)
until the new version comes, now i have the problem with this version too
and oc i have it with
TurboHUD 17.3.28.0 (v7.2)
i have no errors or something, i tried to override the old version, fresh extract, restart game and pc, nothing worked
nothing has changed in my system or my machine

for now i got
TurboHUD 17.3.26.2
working

i need help please, i have the same problem in version
17.3.29.0
and now 17.3.26.2 is disabled so i have no working version anymore.

Edit:
finaly i found the problem.
i don't know how but my antivirus lost my whitelist settings, after new configuration THud is working again
