Info about bans? Help

I want to start using some free cheats on an account I have bought separately from my main. I know I run a very high chance of getting banned. When I get banned will it lock my main aswell? Need genuine answers because I don't want to risk my main that i've worked on since release.

they dont hwid ban. only the cheating account.

I got banned too for using Soldier 82. I already wrote a forum post about it. So far memory hacks are nearly a 100% HWID ban. However I am not quite sure.

Memory hacks used to be HWID bans, but was reversed within a month due to koreans cheating in Cafes etc. You will only receive a HWID ban if you are the maker/provider of a cheat or if you've done something to royally piss blizzard off. 90% of all bans will be just account bans.
