I don't think so it's a virus, I have de-compiled the exe file and gone through the code ( line by line ). All this code does is ( telling you the summery, not details ) find out PathOfExile.exe process go to specific instruction on that process modify it and then exit. It doesn't access any file system location, doesn't access any other process or any windows registry key.

I have also scaned the exe on virus total and none of the anti-virus match it with any known virus pattern, only 3 anti virus says it's malicious process based on heuristic mechanism. It is quiet normal for gaming hacks or bots to be detected as virus/malware by heuristc mechanisms.
