ok not sure if this is really worthy, its mainly just being smart.

So the other day i was selling some of my tailoring stuff and i was bored and my cousin asked me to grab him some enchanting stuff. so i looked up and som1 accidently posted 6 plasmetic shards for the price of 1. bought it and resold it for a couple gold off, and cha ching! im rich.

Next day look around AH in hopes of htis happening again, once again there was somthing i could buy and resell, som1 from a diff server aparently not used to the economy on mine put a portals of 8 up for 5g (it sells for that on some servers, on mine it sells for around 200g) and im not even used to my server's economy, got 80g for it.

so just check ur AH once or twice a day for people who make mistakes or dont do their research and u can be a rich bastard like me

Another way I've found of making money in SW/IF is to just buy up the Tuxedo set (IF) and Wedding Dress (SW) patterns from the tailors. Depending on the server, you can get a decent amount of money for these on the AH, or even just selling them in /2 as soon as you've picked them up. I've made 15g before today from picking up the tuxedo set patterns in IF and selling them within 30 seconds on /2. If you check around different vendors at different times, there are alot of profession recipes selling in limited stock that sell well on the auction house.

Again I say this is dependent on server, so check the prices these things sell for before you buy them, even stand at the vendor and advertise it without buying the item until you've found a buyer (although obviously this is slightly more risky)
