Using Nox will result in a ban later?

Hi,

I have read on reddit that using Nox will probably result in a ban later (ban wave). They did this with ingress too, that person said. Whad do you guys say, is it worth using ones main account with Nox and risk a ban later on? Do you think there is a ban risk at all (not using GPS teleportation and extreme stuff), just using Nox on your are, b/c you are a lazy ass bastard/want to reduce mobile data usage? Would love to hear you opinions, thanks.

There will definitely be a ban wave yeah and it'll probably happen before trading becomes available in the game.

One thing I don't understand: How does Niantic possibly know that I am using Nox (a third party tool)? If I understood it correctly Nox is an android emulator, so the game thinks it is used on android. It shouldn't give the game information to ban me later on, should it? I mean it is the same as I would use it on my phone...

It's kind of shitty. I haven't owned a phone in 5 years. PC is my only option.

As long as you arent warping half way across the world , i highly doubt Niantic will pay attention to you . They dont and probably will never know youre using and emulated setup as long as it appears as though you are playing legitely eg walking 2km/h
