Use NOX without any lag
Getting NOX:
So I'm sure by now everyone that's spoofing has switched over from BlueStacks over to NOX, and if you haven't then you're missing out and you definitely should. Links and instructions to the download can be found in the original NOX thread created by Subversion2 called "Use Nox instead of Bluestacks"
This thread isn't about getting NOX, so I won't be going into the instructions, it's for those that already have it running but are experiencing a lot of lag.
Getting rid of the lag
Step 1: Enable Virtual Technology Settings
This step will most likely give your NOX emulator the largest boost. Most PCs have VT inside their PCs but it is disabled. You can use this link HERE to see whether your PC has VT settings and whether it is enabled or disabled.
If your PC has VT settings, which most of them should and it is disabled, turning it on will drastically boost your NOX emulators performance. In order to do this, it is different for every PC as you have to get into your BIOS settings upon restarting your PC. If you don't know which key to use to get into your BIOS settings then google it. Once you are in your BIOS settings the usual place where VT can be found will be under configuration, you simply enable it and press F10 to save and exit. Now this will be different for every single Bios so yours may be found in a different location, sometimes it's under advanced.
Once you have enabled it, your NOX player should be a lot faster.
Step 2: Switching your graphics card to higher performance
This process will again be different for everyone as everyone has different graphics cards, but the general concept is still the same for all. You have to go to your graphics cards control panel settings and simply switch the performance to a higher level. For example, AMD users will switch to the higher performance graphics card in AMD Catalyst Control Centre, NVIDIA users will do so by going to the NVIDIA control panel.
Step 3: NOX Settings
You simply have to allocate more CPU and RAM into NOX. This can be down by opening NOX Settings > Advanced. I would recommend switching performance to high, but you can customize it to your preference. Upon completing all the steps, if you NOX Emulator is still running slow, switch the graphics rendering mode found at the same place.
EXTRA
If your NOX Emulator is getting stuck at the Niantic loading screen do the following: NOX Settings > Advanced> Direct X. That should fix this issue.

Hope this helps, if you have any questions or other tips feel free to comment em' and I'll add them to the thread.

Just to confirm right, getting stuck @ 99% on Nox startup and having LeoMoon say laptop doesn't support VT means I'm screwed right, or is there something else I can do to run it so I don't have to go back to Bluestacks?

You can try Step number 2 HERE
Otherwise I made a tutorial on how to use another Emulator rather than BlueStacks in NOX doesn't work HERE

Changing the settings to DirectX under the Advanced Options in Nox solved it for me.

Master Sergeant
When i enable VT and open Nox i get a errors saying "Unfortunately google play services has stopped" and "com.google.process.gaspp has stopped".
After i disable VT, Nox can run normal again without these errors.
Anyone knows how to make Nox work together with VT? Ty.
