Chance to get banned by using wild-catch?

Dear Onwedcore users,

After i finished to level my droid i want to skill fishing by an bot. The bot looks very nice and easy to config and i just want to know,
is a youser here banned by this bot? What is with warden detections and other reasons to get banned?

You can get banned with all third party software... No matter how undetected it is, if blizzard specifically scans your account, they can see what background processes you have ran.

I assume you're referring to named executables. From what I understand, the executable metadata is not enough evidence to trigger a ban. A window title could be which is why (I think) HonorBuddy randomizes it. For my products, I leave the window title blank. That being said, Blizzard has recently showed evidence of detecting external bots, particularly in Hearthstone and Diablo 3. However, I haven't yet seen anybody get banned, whether it be a result of TurboHUD or Ros-Bot in Diablo or Yeti-Bots products in WoW.

With regards to Yeti-Bots, feel free to rehash and strip the executable of all metadata, it'll work the same, but Blizzard could still, theoretically, use signature scanning on the executable to detect the bot. But I don't think they'd bother honestly, especially with how little attention WoW has been getting lately. If you're really concerned, I'd look at some of the methods the Diablo people have been using to protect themselves. Here's one for example.

Anyways, my opinion is that Wild-Catch is probably safe, as long as you don't abuse it and yes I would use it on my main account with background mode if I was still playing the game. But that's just my opinion, it's a free tool and I'm not getting any benefit off people using it so don't think I'm saying all this because of some hidden agenda - because there is none.

I use it all the time. I've used it for 20 hours a day during wod, on various accounts making me gold cap selling fish and buff food and never had the slightest warning. This was even before, inbetween and after all the big banwaves that went out for various other bots. Could you be banned? Yes as you could with anything that automates an action but the chances i'd say are low.

If you're afraid to lose your account, i just wouldn't use anything.

@gippy my 1st, 2nd, 3rd 4th and 5th account was banned by honorbuddy. I used him legit with lots of extra plugin to monitor my chat, Stucks on buildings and much more, but on every bann wave, my account was banned. The last account of mine has an 180 days suspension. Yeti-Bots told me, that his bot works like a makro tool with no mem edit. Is this right? Sorry for my bad english skills, i hope you can understand me.

Only memory reading. Memory writing is used when background mode is enabled.

Guys, you can get banned for anything, you can get banned for calling somebody a(n) <insert profanity here>. Point is, although it's safer than most of the bots I've seen, it's not undetectable. So use it at your own risk. Also, thanks for your support!
