COLD SNAP! I TELL JO, COLD SNAP! Its a life-saver! If you have a mount you wont have to use mana shield, remove those and put one in COLD SNAP!

well, the talents are a bit wired imo...
i would spec
A) cold snap (if some guys run out of your nova.. nova again! also useful when you need to get ice barrier up again)
B) water elemental. this is a must. i can't stress how awesome it is. ranged frostnova, does a pretty nice damage to single targets and is a life-saver

These would work with prot pallies, having never played one, I cannot definitely say how effective it would be.
