creating your "maps" for blondes

first off yes i am blonde to!!!

open 2 windows..


double click my computer

double click C drive

double click program files

double click world of warcraft


right click center of window
on pop up menu select new
select new folder
name folder "maps"

now back to the other window

double click my computer

double click C drive

double click on your emulator folder

right click on "ad.exe"
on popup menu select "copy"



now switch back to window 1 *world of warcraft folder"
click on "edit" at top
select "paste"


now you should see 2 items added to the world of warcraft.

1. maps folder
2. ad.exe

now double click the "ad.exe"

it will open a dos window and begin a LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONG process of opening and creating hte files in the "maps folder"

when its done.

right click on ad.exe
select "delete" on the menu

now right click on the "maps" folder
select "CUT" on the menu

now close the "world of warcraft" window

now go back to the "emulator" window

click on "edit" on the top
click on "paste"



now a folder named "maps" should appear in the window

now your done.

odd does it pull them directly from the WoW application itself then.


which is not a bad idea. the EQ pulls from the client side program for maps.

Each map extractor requires a ad.exe for that "localization". If anyone needs one other than EnUS let me know I have deDE, enGB, frFR, spSP.
