[Guide] Accessing the new SVN

The ascent SVN has changed yet again. But anyway, here is a guide for all yall who dont know how to download files from the SVN.

::1:: If you do not have it already, download Tortoise SVN.

::2:: Once it has been successfully installed, you may need to restart your computer. After that, right click on your Desktop, and you will see the option "Tortoisse SVN >". Highlight that one, then click Repo-Browser. (Like so).

::3:: Immediately after you click the link, a URL window will pop up. In the address line, put in http://217.149.194.150/svn/ascent (The ascent SVN)

::4:: Browse through the svn browser and find a folder you wish to download. Right click on the folder, and press "Checkout.."

::5:: In the new Checkout window, locate the bottom of the two Text boxes. Then click on the three dots to the left. http://img81.imageshack.us/img81/7936/repobrowser4rw8.png
At this point, locate the folder you wish to import the files into, and click OK. Once it has finished, the little importing box will highlight the OK button.

According to the Emupedia website, they've been recently "Moving all svn's from svn:// to http:// ", which explains why you couldn't connect to svn://projects.emupedia.com/.
As of the 10-10-2007, http://projects.emupedia.com/gf/ is up and has replaced the old svn .
