Memory: 2x more of those 4gb ribjaw blocks
    Gfx: Geforce gtx 780 Ti
    Motherboard: AsRock Z68 Pro3
PSU: 650 Watt XFX XTR Series Modular 80+ Gold

    or

    Processor: Intel Xeon E3-1230v3 4x 3.30GHz So.1150
Memory: 2x more of those 4gb ribjaw blocks
    Gfx: Geforce gtx 780 Ti
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-H97-D3H Intel H97 So.1150 Dual Channel DDR3 ATX Retail
PSU: 650 Watt XFX XTR Series Modular 80+ Gold

I'd add the memory and a new gfx card to your current setup.

The problem with that is that the old processor can't handle the new games on recommended settings. Also new PSU is needed for new gfx as that new system would consume around 489w.

It's not really worth investing into a new motherboard considering Intel has been doing tiny performance increases every generation. If your current motherboard supports the E3-1230v2 processor, it's a much better choice to just plop it in rather than get something which performs ever so slightly better along with a new motherboard.

On a side note, a 500W could probably power a 780Ti though as it's a Corsair CX it's a good idea to upgrade it. In comparison, my overclocked 4790K/290X pull around 400W from the wall in demanding games. I'm not overly keen on XFX, though they are certainly not on the poor side of PSU manufacturers, I personally prefer Superflower or Seasonic.

Yeah, I've decided not to upgrade my motherboard and am waiting for mindfactory to resupply on those processors. Superflower was my first choice of PSU, but it differed alot on price when I last checked, but now it is again at almost same price as that XFX.
