Brief Overview

I've been playing Path of Exile since open beta and I developed this cheat quite early on as something of a pet project. It has barely changed from the original version that I wrote way back then, because it was written from the beginning to use an adaptive signature scanning technique. It's simple and minimalist; just a maphack.

You may be asking yourself: why the hell would I use this? Well, if all you want is a maphack, or you want an easy to use solution to combine with some of your other favorite programs, this is for you. If you think I'm awesome, this is for you, too.

Disclaimer

I check the anti-cheat frequently, so you can be sure that I will update this thread the moment there is a reason to think this is detected. It is written completely by me, and I do not rely on other tools to "hide" it. It does not modify the game's .text (code) section.

Having said all this, you use this at your own risk. Always check the forum for updates when there is a new patch.

How To Use

1. Start the game (Steam version and traditional version both work fine.)
2. Right-click on Vex.Load.exe and select Run As Administrator.
3. Maphack will be enabled automatically.

I welcome all of your feedback and criticism and will do my best to address any issues that come up. This is meant to be a minimalist hack, the primary feature of which is maphack, so I will probably disregard feature requests for the most part. I'm not going to add a feature that gives you a foot massage and grabs you a beer.

Yeah, now that I think of it, I had that same issue this entire time. I can remove that feature, or change the key... if I change the key, what might be a better key to use that won't conflict with other stuff?

Thanks for the suggestion. I have updated the cheat to reflect this change and also to remove the "chicken" feature. I have no desire to make the scaling compatible with multiple resolutions and using Alt+F4 to escape the game does indeed work as quickly as exiting to the character screen (peoples' anecdotal evidence aside.)

The F5 /oos command doesnt seem to work, it types 'oos instead of /oos. The maphack does work good, thanks!

Might be because OP has different keyboard/set-up language and symbol "/" is not the same?

edit: confirmed, you need to set your keyboard to English (United States) / US keyboard and it will work

Can confirm this would be the case, yes. The tilde (~) key may also map differently on different keyboard layouts. Unless there's an overwhelming demand for it, I'll likely only support the US keyboard layout since it is the only one I can really test with.

"Could not create a thread within the target process."

Sorry if I`m being ignorant and this is due to the update to 1.3.1, but I've ran everything as admin, tried running the file in multiple different locations just to make sure and it's always the exact same error.

Any idea on what I might do to fix this?

So this might sound like a strange fix but are you running it at the game's main title screen? I find that if I am already in-game, and have clicked around a bit and and such, then I don't run into that error. It does seem to happen every so often from the title screen, though.
