I got scammed, what can i do ?

Explain what happened: I sold some WoW gold to this guy, he paid me on paypal and after he got the gold he "held" the payment. As a result iam -100 eur's on paypal and dont know what to do.

After that i blocked the guy. Now my question is, is there anything i can do to get my money? My paypal balance is red and -101 euroes, and i don't know what to do about it.
It's also sad that some people gotta be like that. I can also provide pictures if the text i copied is not enough

He uses hacked paypal accounts, i got scammed too yesterday. The hacked account paypal he used belongs to a spanish girl (im spanish too) so i could talk to this girl, but i think my money is not going back to me. I have -71€ and 200k gold lost BTW, the girl have her money back but me not, almost already.

Somewhere I have a guide which will help you to not get scammed, but the gist is, that once payment is sent, you need to ID verify people. No ID, no sale, refund money - or better yet, hold the money till they can provide it - this prevents them from scamming someone else while the money is held. Check who the payment came from in PayPal, then ask to see the ID of the person who sent the money. Have them hold the ID next to their face and also take a high def scan or picture of the ID, so that you can compare them. This info must match the PayPal account info.You can also call PayPal to verify the transaction, ask to make sure that the person logging in, is logging in from the correct location. They won't really verify if the transaction is correct, but you can get the gist of it, by listening to their words carefully.In the meantime, take it as a lesson learned.Tip: If you have the means, IP verify people as well. It's worth the investment to create something which will allow you to IP verify.Out of curiosity, when the person sent you a PM on the boards, did you do a search for his name, to make sure that the person hadn't scammed others?
