How to not get caught

So, I want to sell some orbs and I want to know what methods you guys used to avoid getting banned. I would appreciate a step-by-step tutorial.

I also have a friend that can help me transfer items to some mule, but I need to know what's the safest method to do that.

From my own PoE trading knowledge (which is over a year and a half) i can give u few advices i found essential of not getting caught:
1. Use an alternate accounts for RMT trading.
2. Check with who are u going to trade.
3. Don't talk with anything related to third party sites, tools, paypal (and other payment methods), credit cards or anything that might make GGG believe u are not trading by the game rules.
4. Give something in return in trade window so u won't get "orbs for free", that's a common reason why some people get banned/locked (even if they don't RMT!) because GGG's tracking system is not that great so they might accidently lock/ban ur acc.
5. Don't buy/sell huge orb quantities from random people, u never know what they are doing and GGG might connect u with them (my real life friend got banned because of this and he NEVER did RMT).

There are of course a lot more, but this one i found the most important. Hope that helps.

My advice is simple.

Have path of exile instaled both on steam and on they'r client (not alot of GB's so you won't have any HDD space trouble).
Play your main account on steam and use they'r client (ggg's client) to do your stuff.
Before doing rmt stuff, close steam, start ussing a VPN (internet is full of them for free), start ggg's client, log into your second(rmt) account and do your thing.
Golden rule, NEVER EVER speak ingame about anything. Even if you wanna thank him for the trade, do it on skype, or wherever you found the buyer/seller.

Call me stupid, but where do I find this? I can't find any instructions on how to actually perform the face to face trade in game.

I have just one question, if I use an alternate account, how do I actually get the items from my main account to the alternate account without being caught in the first place?

On a related note, what if you trade by dropping items on the ground instead of using the trade window? Would they tell something fishy is going on?
