Can't get your server 2.2.x? Heres how...

First go to your logon.config and fin the code that looks like this MinClientBuild = 6739
MaxClientBuild = 6739
Change it to look like this
MinClientBuild = 6739
MaxClientBuild = 8000

Tha shold be it. exit and save changes then logg on.

also your database MUST support this patch or it wont work. A supporting DB is NCDB Milestone 0.2

like i sad before... your database must support the patch. otherwise it wont work. that or you just didnt save your conf files :P
