Making an Ascent server, and making it 2.2

First off, this is my first guide so don't flame if it sucks.

To get started, go to http://pankirk.zeeblo.com/download.html and download the 3.1 free version. Remember where you put the file

When you get to the end of the installation be sure to put a short cut on your desktop (it makes things much easier).

Now it's time to make it compatible with 2.2. Go into your repack file and open up logonserver.conf, it should open with notepad. If it doesn't, open it with notepad. Scroll down until you see this:

<Client MinBuild = "6739"
MaxBuild = "7000">

Change it to look exactly like this

<Client MinBuild = "6739"
Maxbuild = "8000">

Be sure to include the "" around 6739 and 8000.

Change your realmlist to 127.0.0.1

To start the server up, click the shortcut on your desktop that should be labeled Panex Gaming Repack 3.1. Click the MySQL tab and click "MySQL Start". Now click the Ascent tab, start up "logonserver" and then "Ascent". Start these in the order in which they're listed.

Now open up WoW, log in with "panex" as your username and "admin", no "" this time.

i cant go into karazhan and SSC and TK " i need a raid group ", can anyone help how to do? and a other question, Will it work with the mangos commands? Soz for the spamming.

to get into a raid group, you have to start 2 instances of WoW on your pc and be logged into 2 different accounts so you can use those 2 characters to make a raid group. Once your group is made, you can delete one of the instances of WoW

Yes this will work on your Antrix server, Ascent and Antrix are basically the same

All of you are free to join my server, it runs on hamachi for now...... It's Called Carpe Noctern. Which is "Sieze the Night" in Latin. The hamachi servers are Chase's Funserver1, Chase's Funserver2, Chase's Funserver3 all the way up to Chase's Funserver6. I'm going to get a shopping center soon, a good one. It has high rates but i'll level you instantly if you just say you saw the thing on mmowned. GM spots are open
