Excellent Mote of Shadow Farming spot - lvl 70

Hey, I haven’t seen this before so I thought I’d post it. There’s a great spot in Hellfire Peninsula for farming Motes of Shadow, it’s just to the left of the Dark portal starting at 75, 57 and working down to 80,81.

The mobs are all Void walkers and they have an excellent drop rate for Motes of Shadow (2 every 5 kills for me). I get approximately 6 Primal Shadows an hour farming here, which given that they go for around 20g on my server equals 120g per hour.

They also have a quite a good drop rate for Green Vendor trash and there are a lot of Fel iron deposits here too which means other motes as well. I make on average 120 – 150 Gold and hour a this spot and there is never a soul in sight. Bare in mind though I’m a lvl 70 epic rouge so I go through the mobs at quite a fast rate and they respawn really quickly too.

In all the time I've been here which is a lot, I've only ever seen one person, a 63 Lock (who was'nt there long and that was't a bot.

Same here... I've been through this place about 5 times from questing... I don't like hanging around there too long, but the only people I ever see there are other questers.

Might help to note... one of the shadow mobs "absorbs" the first magic attack you use on it and decreases that school of magic damage by like 75% or something, so flip between magic schools.

since the new patches this one and the previus primal shadow drop rates have both been lowered and now a massive amoutn of them is needed in the new epic kara crafted stuff so..they are hitting sky high on the ah.

Not sure what server your ur on mate, but I'm on Skullcrusher EU and Primals go for around 20g
