Is a bot competing for your territory, or is someone being mean to you? Crash their client!

I've discovered this exploit almost a year ago, but now that I quit FFXIV, I have no use for it anymore, so i'm making it public. It will probably be patched soon, so have fun while it lasts.

Launch killer.exe and send a tell (or in /party or whatever) message with the magic string: whatsup and watch the disconnected icon pop up!
Only works against PC victims, there's probably a similar overflow in PS3/PS4 clients.

I managed to crash my own client with this but it doesn't seem to be working on other people. I /tell whatsup and nothing comes up in the CMD window.

What windows are you running? Administrator? Look at the source and the network rule, and compare with your connection ports, maybe it needs some fixing.
