    lol that doesnt help botting one bit

    Frost is the best, but make sure you pick up 3/3 Elemental Precision
    I'll tell you where you might be, you might be in the room you die in. Live or die, make your choice.

    Go what you feel right, not what they tell you..Listen to them and see what you think is right. People say the best way to lvl a mage is to spec frost, only cause its has faster cool down and you cast faster.This is what I've been told
    Fire=Pvp
    Frost= Pve -fastest-
    Arcane= ??
    But my mage is Fire/Arcane and he does great dps and can Aoe very well..

    I would show you my spec but i need a few more posts xD

    Frost = PvE Aoe Grinding, from lvl 22 u can start aoe' ing due the improved blizzard, some can do it on lvl 20 already, but there is no " THIS IS PVP SPEC " is how u play ur spec, some things are just beter in pve then others but ive seen frost pve mages kick ass in pvp, its just how u play ur class read my words, choose what u think plays nice, the best mages have worthless specs u would think, but u sure know ur gonna loose to them (think of nihilium mages ect.)
    have u seen theyre specs!? zomg suxy! well maybe not prephaps they like playing that way or they just get payed 5$ a day for taking that spec but...

    There sure is "THIS IS PVP SPEC" and it is called frost, show me one guy who arena as fire or arcane? (2k+ rating brackets i mean).
    Nihilum mage in full tier 6 < Mage in full merciless glad gear, it is a factor. and the mages of nihilums specc is for pve and i wouldn't say they sucked, actually quite good, all the speccs ppl have nowadays are 50/11/0 10/48/3 when they raid BT/hyjal

    This man speaks the truth. Deep arcane/deep fire is how mages get into BT/Hyjal raids (along with 1100+ spell dmg).

    17/0/44 is the standard Merc Mage arena/pvp spec. No doubt about it, but some people prefer 0/8/55 for impact (impact can destroy melee), and improved fireblast.

    The main reason pom/ap < deep frost mages is the fact that resilience melts your crit down and a well timed IB can render your CD useless.
