    Crimelords of Whitevale

Generally complete, going to add more later.

    Overview:

Crimelords of Whitevale is an adventure located in the north part of Wilderrun. It is a level 40, 5 man adventure. The clubhouse of your gang has been burned down by a rival gang. Your job is to become the baddest gang and avenge your comrades. After the introduction, there will be a notoriety bar in the top right. The goal is to fill this by completing decisions, events, and killing rival gang members. When you go to null point, your group will have to make a decision. After its filled, you'll fight a boss then the final boss, and end the adventure. Dying will make you lose a decent chunk. There are three main paths you can do: Protostar, Redmoon, or Darkspur. In addition, you can recruit smaller gangs to help yours. These are Sons of Ravok, Rocktown Rollers, and Geargrinders. It can be done in 25-40 minutes.

    Miscellaneous Tips, Tricks, and Information:

    • During the course of the adventure, there are several random occurrences that can happen after you complete a task, or just before a new one, regardless of the path you pick. These are:

      • Curfew: Police will target you and focus for a few seconds, then knock you down. Not dangerous but just annoying.
      • Fires at Null Point: There will be 7 enemies back at Null Point setting fires the place. Kill them and put out the flames with your T item. Note: Taking too long will cost notoriety.
      • Kill Haters: You will have 4 minutes to kill 6 haters. They are very very weak and easy to kill. They do sometimes seem to evade if one is killed before the other, as they do not die but turn friendly. If this happens, find a new pack. There's about 12-14 in total and you have plenty of time to finish this.
      • Blizzard: You will see a warning "A blizzard has hit" or something similar after completing an event. There will be a body temperature gauge. As it gets low, you'll be stunned and then take some damage. You can prevent this and keep yourself warm by going to campfires. or taking shelter. You can die from this so be careful. After being frozen though you'll get a small buffer in body temperature but its still best to warm yourself up as you head back to Null Point.
Note: This can occur with the below events as well but not during tasks.
      • Pickpocket 4 Citizens: There will be 4 citizens randomly scattered that you can pickpocket from behind. Police will interrupt you but its still fairly easy to complete. Each one grants a small amount of notoriety.
      • Steal 4 Unwatched Crates: There are 4 crates scattered and must be clicked. When you get one, an icon will appear above your head. Bring it back to Null Point for some bonus notoriety. This is made difficult by police who will knock you down and remove the crate from your possession.

    • Killing rival gangs can increase notoriety. It seems a bit random but usually every few will give a message saying that you killed a card carrying member and have gained notoriety.
    • You will need the entire group to return to Null Point when it asks to go there.
    • There is an exit portal next to (outside) Null Point and one where you zone in.
    • Each choice is based on majority. Ties are presumably random. There is also 90? seconds to pick.
    • Losing all notoriety ends the adventure in failure. No loot or medals
    • Vengeance is never the first option but will appear after 2-3 missions. Special note: It will automatically trigger the Venegance mission when you're almost max notoriety (no choice will be given, just auto-starts).
    • The four total choices to pick are: Criminal Enterprise, War in the Streets, Alliance, and Vengeance.
    • Loot is dropped after:
      • Finishing the first mission after picking a faction at the start.
      • Finishing the vengeance mission.
      • The first boss after max notoriety.
      • The second (final) boss of the adventure.
      • Maxing an alliance. (Most groups never do this).

    Medals:

To be honest, I'm not quite sure the requirements for gold and silver. But generally, not dying and completing all missions will net gold. You do not have to do optional bonuses such as pickpocketing citizens for gold. I can also say that you can die and still get gold, but doing say may hurt your chances. Notoriety seems to be linked to medals, and you want to max it out as soon as possible.

    GOLD RECOMMENDATION PATH:
Redmoon-->Alliance-->Roller-->Criminal-->Alliance-->Roller-->Venegeance, which should cap notoriety (might be short if you don't kill many mobs)

    Alliances:

Whenever you pick "Alliance" there are three you can pick, each with three tiers. When you pick the third tier, you will fight the boss for that faction.

    Sons of Ravok:
Grants a bonus to War in the Streets events.
    • First Mission:
    • Second Mission:
    • Third Mission:

    Rocktown Rollers:
Have randomly friendly members attack hostile gangs throughout the town.
    • First Mission:Kill a 7 packs of mobs near a bar. There's about 6 mobs per pack and they can be easily AoE'ed down. Each pack will activate separately.
    • Second Mission:Take a bike to near the beginning and kill more packs of mobs, There are 8 packs of 3 to kill. You can pull multiple ones together if the tank is brave enough.
    • Third Mission:Kill a miniboss. She's fairly easy and will constantly summon adds. Its best to ignore the adds and focus on her. You will receive loot after she's dead.
    • Random Mission:After the first mission, you may be asked to rescue a comrade of theirs above the Void's Fury. Once inside you have approximately 3 minutes to reach her. Failure to do so will cause you to lose reputation with Rocktown, and succeeding will have it unchanged.

    Geargrinders:
    • Grants a bonus to Criminal Enterprise events.
    • First Mission:Escort a Mister Fuzion. During the escort, two mobs will attack him, then he'll run a bit after they're dead, and get tethered to a mine. This repeats several times until the end where 4 mobs will attack instead of two.
    • Second Mission: Return to Mister Fuzion. He'll ask you to bring 8 Bot Parts to the Bot Depositorium next to him. Parts are near him and have to be clicked. Some have Protostar Battlebots near them, but many can be gotten without attacking anything. They also respawn. The Protostar Battlebots will do a massive slow if they are aggro'ed and make you drop the part. They can be kited into the Geargrinders area as well who will attack them. Afterwards you can take bikes back to Null Point.
    • Third Mission: Mister Fuzion asks to meet you. Wrangle Haywire Bots into a Fix-O-Tron at the Geargrinder area. Use your T to lasso them, who in turn slow and damage you. Takes 6 to complete.
    • Random Mission:After the first mission, you may be asked to rescue a comrade of theirs above the Void's Fury. Once inside you have approximately 3 minutes to reach her. Failure to do so will cause you to lose reputation with Geargrinders, and succeeding will have it unchanged.

    Walkthrough:

    The Beginning:

There will be 10 bodies laying around the clubhouse. Just click them and then you'll be prompted to take nearby hoverbikes. After the hoverbikes, talk to Ric Longshanks and follow him to a place called Null Point where you'll fight your first miniboss, Goonbot.

    Miniboss: Goonbot
    Health: ~400k
    Shield: ~100k

Goonbot is pretty simple. He has a somewhat large frontal attack and a few other simple abilites. The tank needs to just face him away from the group while the rest DPS.

    Decision Time:

At this point your group will have to pick a path. This path determines different loot, and different end bosses. If you skip intro, this is where you start. The three paths to pick are:

    • The Darkspur Cartel
    • The Redmoon Marauders
    • Protostar Corporation

    The Darkspur Cartel:

    The Redmoon Marauders

This is the most popular path and ones pugs generally do for gold runs.

First Mission: You'll be asked to retrieve moonshine from a crate on the docks. Its in a random one and you can either just smash them all to get it or scan to see whats inside. The ones without it can explode and stun, spawn a mob, or drop a pile of tar. This is also a good place to grind some notoriety by killing mobs. Afterwards, talk to Barugh and after some long RP talk go back to Null Point.Loot rewarded after completion.

    Alliance: See above.

War in the Streets (possible missions, randomly given):

Criminal Enterprise (possible missions, randomly given):
    • Arson: Burn down a place (random} with the T item to start a fire. As it burns, firefighters come to put it out. Kill them to prevent that. You have about 4 minutes and it takes quite a while. The more fires you have, the faster it goes. Be careful not to set yourself on fire in the process.
    • Marking Territory: Pain 3 target in 3:30. Some have mobs near them but this is still very easy with plenty of time

    Vengeance:

Go into the Holding cells to rescue Barugh. He'll have 3 npcs outside of his cage, and a console next to him. Dispatch them then hit the console. Lots more will spawn where you came from and he'll be freed. Be VERY careful here as this is where people die the most. Barugh also can not die so there is absolutely no rush to go to the exit. Loot rewarded after completion.

When you max notoriety, you'll be asked to board the Void's Fury. Once inside, fight your way to the end where you'll see the captain. Barugh is doing a mutiny to overthrow him. After some talking, you can fight.

    Boss:Captain Onghr
    Health: 500k
    Interrupt Armor: 2

Tactics: He has several abilities including a 180 frontal cleave, He'll also drop tether mines that should be killed before they explode. Additionally and most importantly, he'll occasionally call adds to help him. These have low hp but can do high damage and should be prioritized, Once he's dead, any remaining Redmoon will become friendly. Loot rewarded after completion.

When you exit, headback to the clubhouse (you can hop on bikes to make it faster). Then you'll be contacted by now Captain Barugh. There will be waves of mobs that will attack (you can pull more to speed things up). Then after they're dead, you'll fight him:

    Boss:Captain Barugh
    Health: 422k
    Shields:122k
    Interrupt Armor: 2?

Tactics: His health is somewhat low making is a relatively fast fight. His main abilities are an X-shaped telegraph which can be interrupted for a moment of opportunity. He also does a channeling ability which does HIGH damage that is a flame sword that can be interrupted but if not the tank needs to kite. It buffs his damage for a short time if completely. Lastly, there will be a laser shooting from heaven that drops several circle telegraphs on players, requiring people to move constantly. Overall not too difficult.

    Adventure ends when he dies.

    GOLD RECOMMENDATION PATH:
Redmoon-->Alliance-->Roller-->Criminal-->Alliance-->Roller-->Venegeance, which should cap notoriety (might be short if you don't kill many mobs)

    Protostar Corporation

First Mission: Talk to the Protostar representative and then he'll drop a ledger. When you click it, you'll be asked to visit some members of town. Simply talk to the Protostar guy and then the Business person. Do this three times. Loot rewarded after completion.
Note: The bots seem to be bugged and won't attack unless attacked first.

Afterwards, you'll be given two of the four choices (vengeance will never be given as a first choice):

    Alliance: See above.

War in the Streets (possible missions, randomly given):
    • Talk to a couple npcs, then fight 3 robots. They spin around but are otherwise harmless and weak.
    • Poison 8 Darkspur drinks. Just right click them and do a F action. Failing the action causes them to aggro, but still gives credit.

Criminal Enterprise (possible missions, randomly given):
    • Talk to a merchant, then destroy 25 crates. You have about 4 minutes but they're very dense and low health.
    • Loot 12 boxes and bring them to a NPC. Watch for police as they will knock you down and make you drop it.

    Vengeance:

This is actually quite long and slightly difficult. The first step is to find two bodies that lead west into darkspur territory. At which point you'll bed led to a miniboss.

    Miniboss: "Sureshot" Semi Wric
    Health: ~400k
    Shield: ~100k

Tactics: He'll be on top of shipping containers and melee will have to jump up to reach him. He has one main ability which is a charged shot that will knock him back a bit. After some time, he'll teleport on top of another set of containers. This will repeat until he's dead. If he ever goes on the ground, you can hit a console which drops a container and if it hits him, will hurt/kill him. There is also a bug where if he's on the top of the container opposite the starting ones, he'll "go out of range" and essentially reset.

Again, find two more bodies and then the next boss.

    Miniboss: Quickdraw
    Health: ~400k
    Shield: ~100k

Tactics: Not much here, just dodge telegraphs and do your best to survive. Doesn't seem like there's many tricks.

After two more bodies lead to the last miniboss.

    Miniboss: Assassin Alcina
    Health: ~400k
    Shield: ~100k

This boss is a bit weird. She's next to electrodes which do a large telegraph if you're near them, but also do massive damage to her making it very easy. Just set them off and dodge them while keeping her in them. They do hurt so be careful.

When you max notoriety, you'll be asked to attend a conference.

For the conference, you'll be locked in a gas filled room which will constantly do damage to you. There will be about 7 waves of mobs. They will either be a Battlebot, or a couple regular bots. In addition to gas, globs of poison will be thrown which do high damage if touched. This is quite difficult and healing intensive. I don't think there's a way to prevent the poison. Once the waves are gone, the door can be opened to vent the gas, and you can teleport out. (I'm also pretty sure if memory serves this gives loot).

You'll receive a direction to head back to the Blood Scion clubhouse, where Protostar left a huge crate as a present to you.

    Boss: Warbot
    Health: ~900k
    Shield: ~300k

I don't remember much of this fight aside he has high health and a giant aoe that can be interrupted. Just hang in there until he's done

His defeat will end the adventure.

At the end of the adventure, gold will give a couple decors, a couple blues, and two epics. You will also get 7 Partial Primal Patterns
Silver rewards a decor, 1-2 blues, and 2-4 Partial Primal Patterns
Bronze rewards I believe just one blue, and one Partial Primal Patterns

How exactly do you get 3 bars with a faction? The notoriety bar fills up way too fast. I haven't seen the reputation get to 3 bars ever.

The choices you get when you return are random, so if you're lucky you'll get 3 alliances in a row (which is rare) but since people usually pick vengeance as soon as its available, most groups do that instead.

Dying reduces notoriety, so if you have even 1-2 deaths you should get an extra mission choice and another chance at alliance. You can even still get gold with 1-2 deaths, not sure about 3+ though. Complete time needs to be less than 30 minutes as well to get gold. Have had a 0 death run at 31 minutes that resulted in silver, and a 2 or 3 (i forget) death run at 26 minutes that resulted in gold.
