    Change Language

    Hey guys,

    in the first Beta Test it was possible to change language via Console like:

    hud.language=EN etc.

    Is there still something simlar? Is there some Memory Genius here that can check for that?

    Would be great!

    Gvars are settable through lua, try something like '/eval Apollo.SetConsoleVariable("hud.language", "EN")' (type it in the ingame chat)

    Yeah thanks I try this. Sadly I am not sure how the exactly spelling was.

    I just remember (if correctly) that there was a 2 at the end like

    language.2= or something else. Not sure exactly T.T that is what I try to find out =(

    After reversing a bit the launcher for fun i noticed they pass language as argument when launching the game executable.
    I tried to change this parameter to another common language but it seems the game actually use only english.
    When i changed the parameters to 'fr' from 'en' nothing was changing except buttons for accepting/rejecting eula which displaying control name instead of english string (if i remember right it was displaying Btn_OnEULAAccept or something like this).

    I'm sorry but it seems you have to wait language pack release to have your game in the language you desire :/

    As far as I'm aware, the game contains localization support, however, said localization isn't completed yet.

    As for the command line args, you can just use task manager to find them...

    Code:
    /auth auth.na.wildstar-online.com /lang en /authnc wildstar.cligate.ncsoft.com
    There's also the developer auth portals as well.

    They will have language support for DE/EN/FR once the game goes live. They said it probably won't be available until headstart.
