Tutorial: How to change cardbacks clientside

Hello,

I show you in 5 steps how to replace your default cardback with another cardback ingame(Client side).

1. Go to your hearthstone files and search for the file CARD_BACK.XML
(You can find your hearthstone folder in your battle.net app. -> Settings -> Game install/update - x/Hearthstone/DBF)
2. Edit CARD_BACK.XML with notepad(Or other program)
3. Search for this line.

<Field column="PREFAB_NAME">Assets/Game/CardBacks/Default/Card_Back_Default</Field>

4. Change Card_Back_Default to the cardback you want.

There are currently 6 cardbacks in the files:
1: Default
2: Pandaria
3: BlackTemple
4: Charm
5: Launch
6: Legend
7: Naxxramas
8: Naxxramas2
9: Icecrown
10: Tespa

5. Save and launch hearthstone.

Hearthstone patches this file to the default version each time you relaunch hearthstone. This means that you have to edit the file each time before launching hearthstone.

Still works for naxx. If you look at the other files in the same folder you can changes boards and other things too.

Change board:

1) Open BOARD.XML

2) Search "<Field column="PREFAB">Assets/Game/Boards/NAX/NAX</Field>

3) Modify /Boards/NAX/NAX on /Boards/NAX/STW

4) Save

5) Open game and playing


Boards:
1: STW
2: ORG
3: MOP
4: STR
5: NAX
