Fast leveling?

Anyone has any fast leveling methods ? I'm just doing quests right now and it's very slow, noticed some people are already level 50, which sounds impossible unless they found a great farming spot

It's slow and boring; I really dont give a **** about the lore, around which level can you effectively start aoe grinding? and is spamming dungeons effective?

how many levels below u did u use to grindo n? and how much higher do u get before u find new spot

What is a good grinding build for nightblade? I have tried a few things and none worked well at level 20. Anything more than 2 monsters kills me fast. I have seen grinding builds for sorcerer and templar, but my nightblade does terrible at aoe farming.

He did actually, seems his website is down, it was a nice looking guide (mob farming) for AD, if you're not AD there's nothing to be gained from it

So I just hit level 50 and thought I'd share my thoughts on the journey. I also leveled Blacksmithing, Clothing and Woodworking while I leveled; they're level 30, 32 and 30 respectively. My /played is ~48 hours.


I leveled with an AoE build Templar and spent most of my time grinding areas with large packs that I could chain pull. I found a few spots where I could pull up to 10 mobs at a time, and with a bit of practice, kill them consistently dying maybe once an hour.


AoE grinding is DEFINITELY faster than questing. Personally I hate questing so I enjoyed this a lot.




ALDMERI DOMINION GRIND LOCATIONS:


1 - 9: Just play normally


9 - 14: Island east of Skywatch with bandits; figure out a circuit and run around the island. There are lots of 3-packs and a couple chests.


14 - 17: The courtyard within the castle in northern Auridon; lots of 3-packs here.


17 - 23: Head to Grahtwood. There's a place called the Skeleton Orchard in western Grahtwood with lots of skeletons around. Run a circuit. If you're playing a caster, you'll find the entire warlock set which has an unbelievably good 3-piece bonus. Wear this set until at least level 40.


23 - 28: Gil-Var-Del in western Grahtwood. The map icon is a tree stump. Lots of 3-packs.


28 - 37: Okay, this is the money spot. You'll notice I spent NINE levels here; that's how good this spot is. In northern Greenshade, there's a place called Hectahame. There's a few 3-packs (always a caster and two melee), some flesh monsters, and a bridge with TEN skeletons under it. The skeletons are why we're here. The skeletons are neutral (they won't aggro you by proximity) so pull them all intelligently and AoE them down. You'll get around 1920 exp, which is almost as much as completing an entire quest chain. While you wait for them to respawn, pull the other nearby 3-packs and flesh monsters. I was getting a new level once every 45 minutes or so here.


37 - 44: In southern Reaper's March, there's a place called Moonmont with lots of 3-packs. The most optimal circuit I could figure out had me clearing the top of Moonmont and only jumping down to get a 3-pack by a bridge.


44 - 50: This is another GREAT spot. After completing the main questline, head to Coldhabour. There's a portal to the Cliffs of Failure in the northeast that teleports you to a place with lots of 2-packs. Here you want to multi-pull as many 2-packs as you can - there's one spot where I could pull four 2-packs simultaneously with little difficulty.


And there you are! How I did it.


Some people think grinding the way I did is boring. It's all good, different strokes etc. I personally had a blast.

AOE TEMPLAR SKILLS:


Solar Barrage: Your opener.


Reflective Light: General purpose AoE. It pumps the next spell's damage, so use it before your Ultimate.


Biting Jabs: Used to clean up groups and single-target. It knocks enemies off balance so you can solo bosses/elites.


Repentance: This skill is INSANE. Infinite life/energy.


Impulse: You don't get this Destruction skill until level 38, so I kept a self-heal on my bar until then.


Empowering Sweep: The armor morph is key because you are getting hit a lot.

So what if you're an NB or DK? Would this be a bad idea or something to look at more cautiously? How exactly do you run your gear to AoE like this? High Mana with HA? MA with high health? what's going on exactly.

I'm pretty sure DK is one of the best classes to farm mobs with.. I've been killing mobs without AOE and it's still going very fast. Nightblade/DualWield
